What is the Appointment Tool for Doctors?
It is an end-to-end appointment booking platform for doctors and clinics. Patients pick a date and slot, enter their details, pay online, and receive automated confirmations, while the clinic manages everything through Google Sheets and Google Calendar.
How do patients book an appointment?
Patients choose an available date and time slot, fill in their name, phone number, and email, add an optional note about their concern, and complete payment. They then receive a confirmation by email and can share the booking details on WhatsApp.
Can patients pay online while booking?
Yes. The platform supports secure online payments through UPI and Razorpay. Patients can complete payment during the booking process and, if required by your workflow, share payment confirmation through WhatsApp.
How does the system prevent double bookings?
The system reads existing bookings from Google Sheets in real time and disables any slot that is already taken. Past dates are blocked as well, so patients can only select slots that are genuinely available.
Can doctors customize their consultation timings?
Yes. Schedules can be set by day, for example a shorter Sunday session and split morning and evening sessions from Monday to Saturday. Timings can be adjusted to match each doctor's availability.
Does the system send appointment reminders?
Yes. The system sends confirmation emails to patients, alert emails to the admin, and pre-appointment reminders, and it creates a Google Calendar event for every confirmed appointment.
Where is the appointment data stored?
Appointment records are saved directly to Google Sheets in your own Google Workspace account, which also works as the admin dashboard. You keep full ownership and access to your booking data.
Is this appointment booking system suitable for clinics with multiple doctors?
Yes. The system can be configured with separate doctors, schedules, and calendars so each doctor's availability is managed independently while the clinic keeps one central view of all bookings.
Can patients provide information about their health concerns before the consultation?
Yes. The booking form includes an optional problem description field, so patients can share their symptoms or concerns in advance and the doctor can review them before the consultation.
Can this appointment system integrate with my existing website?
Yes. The booking flow can be embedded into or linked from your existing website, and styled to match your branding. Our team will plan the integration with you during the demo.
